My Astrophotography
Equipment
My current equipment consists of a Takahashi 6 inch aperture F/7.3 (1100mm
focal length) refractor and 80mm F/11.3 (910mm focal length) Orion guide scope with 5mm illuminated reticle eyepiece or Orion StarShoot AutoGuider.
The Takahashi refractor and Orion guide scope are mounted side by side using a Losmanby
side-by-side dovetail plate.
The mount is an Astro-physics AP1200.
This is a photograph of my
equipment.
My standard exposure time using the Takahashi and Hutech modified Canon 40D digital camera at 800ASA
is 5 minutes and at 200ASA is 20 minutes when photographing from a farm south of Blue Knob State
Park, PA.
